EFI on an AMC 258 motor?

I have not. I have put a jeep cherokee head and a hand ful of sensors onto a 1973 IH scout with a 258 in it.
I bought a late 90's cherokee and if I did it again I think I would just swap the motor and complete wire harness.

there are lots of write ups on a forum group called the eagles den.

Thanks that makes sense

I put a Holley Sniper EFI on my Dodge 318 and it purrs like a kitten and is real snappy. Starts easy and runs smooth even when cold or wet out.
Big learning curve putting it together. Reread the instructions and it works best when you follow those.

I have a car with the Sniper on it. Junk for me so far. The car refuses not to overheat when run for any length of time.

Supposedly the original was not good at keeping stray electronic interference from the ECM.

Holley now has a Sniper 2 out in the marketplace. They have now divorced the ECM form the throttle body and mount it separately. I think this means they knew they had an issue in some applications. If I were I to do it again that is what I would do.
