Ebay Cats; 1970 Tucker, 1978 Bombardier, others

That's the first I've heard of ksl.com, I typed in '' snow cat'' and I see they have a whole bunch listed on there, most in Utah.

I drove an old Hagglunds SUSV for the first time today :-) and after that I'd have to say no one in there right mind would pay anything remotely close to $145k eaven for a nicely restored one

KSL is a Salt Lake City television station as well as both AM and FM radio stations. The ksl.com website is way more popular in this area than craigslist and draws listings from Idaho, Nevada, Wyoming as well as all of Utah.

People spell "snow cat" many different ways so typically I look at the "snowmobiles-used" category and have the results listed by price; high-low.

I had one of those Bombardier/Snowblast units. There were 2 over here in Gunnison that had come from the Air Force Academy or something like that, Forest Service wound up with them. Snowcat....???, well we know that is a stretch, sidewalkcat is more like it. However, that blower was the best unit I have owned. Really moves some snow! Felt a little like driving a teeter-totter with the powerplant on the back/blower on the front, but a good working unit. "15-20 MPH"... Not my experience, but who knows:ermm:....
Pretty cool....
