E Tech?

I just saw a commercial spouting the Evinrude E Tech outboard. The statement was made, no oil change ever. Someone 'splain please.

Are we talking engine?

If so, I can only think of 2 reasons.
1. It's a 2 cycle engine. No oil to change.
2. It's a 4 cycle engine, but we are talking Evinrude so it'll die before the oil is due for a change.

I just pulled it up on their website

Well, that makes sense!!! Oh dopey me!!! I thought maybe Ebonroot came up with something new.

The new ETEC's are supposed to be awesome. Evinrude is trying to destroy the myth that 4 stroke is better than two. The ETECs have no break in period and no maintenance for three years.
