Yea.. My buddy Durwood could use a prayer or two.. he's had it real rough the last couple years.. He was admitted into the hospital last friday...His diabetes is giving him a bad go..guess his legs are all swolen ..with sores and infection..I just talked to him on his cell..and i guess veins and arterys(sp) in his legs are really messing with his blood preasure.. I just thought alittle prayer couldn't hurt... Byron:pray:

Sad to hear about Durwood. Prayers from here that he pulls it together. Leg problems like that are not to be taken lightly.:flowers:

buddy of mine recently had to have several of the veins in his legs cauterized from the inside to clear up some severe circulation problems -- from things he said it was no fun - smoke & prayers for durwood!

Yea...my dad has been fighting diabietes for 40 years..it is a destructive desease....B,

My dad a small man got it when he was 55. His father had it. My uncle on my mothers side had it, he was a large man. I got it just over a year ago. I am a large guy. No fun but I have been able to control it with diet and exercise.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Durwood. I watched my grandfather suffer from diabetes for several years. He lost circulation in his legs and feet. One by one, his toes began turning black and had to be amputated. Before he passed on after withering away for 10 yrs, he lost all toes on one foot, half a leg, his eye sight. His kidneys. It wasn't pleasant at all.

Best of prayers for Durwood. In the last year or so I've certainly come to understand health issues more so than I ever have before in my life. Suddenly, nothing else is important. Get well soon Durwood!

Good thoughts and prayers coming your way Dur.
Best wishes for a quick recovery.

Thanks Byron.
I heard from him not that long ago.
Get well soon Dur- you have to.. we have that dinner meeting planned!

Glad to here he is home , thoughts and prayers ongoing . Thanks for the update B. :flowers:

Glad to hear he is out and hopefully moving around OK. Circulatory problems are not fun. Hope he listens to the docs cause the alternative is not good. Continued prayers from here.
