Hangin in Tornado Alley
Ok.. I have put off posting things, but it's just getting depressing around my house. A buddy of mine from college passed away last week from lymphoma. He was 35. Some of you that live in the Houston area may have heard about some of the fundraisers for him and his family. There was a HUGE one yesterday. Here are some links to a TV news story and a link to the firehouse page where they are raising money.

Also, one of my daughter's classmates was killed in an ATV accident yesterday. He was 8. Our town of 2200 people is reeling.

I just ask for all your thoughts and prayers of the families affected by all of this.

How horrible. Both so young.

The boy that lost his life on the ATV makes me shutter as I have a boy the same age who loves riding his ATV and I couldn't imagine loosing him like that.

Prayers and best wishes for you, the family and the entire community for your losses.

Man, that's awful to hear. I'm really sorry to hear that news. I cruised along in life for quite a long while without knowing anyone well at all who passed away until the last 5 years or so. Based on your situation, I should consider myself very lucky to be, relatively, as old as I am and have only lost grandparents. My thoughts and prayers are with you, your family and your friends.

You got it Jeremy, good thoughts and prayers on the way.

All the best! :thumb:

Losing friends and family seem to go in spurts for some reason. prayers for all and hope you find peace with their passing.:flowers:
