Trail Cameras with Explosives Attached in Kentucky Raise Alarm

As a possible deterrent to would-be thieves, trail cameras with explosives attached have been found in Harlan County.

Kentucky State Police are warning residents that frequent the wooded areas of Harlan County that trail cameras have been recently discovered with explosives attached. Exact numbers or specific locations have not been disclosed.

Police believe the owner of the cameras has come up with the unorthodox explosive idea as a means to discourage would-be thieves.

I'm not at all sure how much of a purely deterrent effect this would have, but I'll give good odds that there would not be
many repeat offenders!
