Usually the most pressing or commonly replaced parts would be grousers, belting and exhaust components.

Heard some time ago that my Ex-wife went in and got re-fur-boobed. apparently she was whore out.

Generally depends on what the part. How critical to whole machine? How flat is the wallet? Then again, I find you can spend more on used, or rebuilt which was NOT done correctly, just in time it takes exchanging on & off the dang non-working new-to-me part.

Good point. There are alot of USED parts out there. Sometimes for us its the only option other than going to a CNC shop and having something made from scratch. I told a man I would buy some of his grousers that he said were in good shape. I drove 3 hrs to find a pile of well worn and cracked grousers. Good for him? Try and get pictures emailed to you first. Lesson learned.
