dmc 3700e questions

I just bought a dmc 3700e for $1500.00 It was parked for a few years and i have a few questions. This is my first snowcat and I plan on using it to groom the slopes behind my house. It has a 8.3 Cummins that was just installed a few years ago. I need new tracks, the grousers are all there and in pretty good shape. Can I use conveyor belting or is there a special kind I need? I put a battery in it and it fired right up and runs great. the drives are not working, the right side does nothing and the left makes alot of noise when I engage it. i noticed the bolts on the cover were finger tight so something is probably broke in the planetary gears, I think that is why it was parked, Do you guys know where i can get parts for the drives? One sprocket is missing the rubber coating, can I get this recoated or do I need a new one? Also A few of the torsion axles are bent on one side, I am going to try and straighten then if I can. If I replace them do I need special ones or do you guys weld in trailer axles? Thanks in advance.

Welcome and congratulations fall line inc. will rework your drivers. They are located in nevada. There are a couple guys on here that I believe also know some other ways to go.

I am sure that i have everything you need for the final drive. Take the cover off and see if there is anything at all in it. to me it sounds like the other side is just going over relief. There is an odd little lever by the blade "D" handle to release the brakes.
It is common for the brakes to be non-functional as well. (the side with the Final bolts loose.) I have few axles for that cat too. I have quite a bit of parts for those cats.

yes Sir! That is the one. I also have a friend who has a set of new pumps and motors for that cat. If you give up the serial number i likely have a manual for it too.

I bought 3 ply belting for my track job a couple of years ago. Went with 1/2" thick. Also purchased a hole drill from them for $20., well worth the investment too. Made drilling the holes very easy. Still have some belting left over, new. 10" wide x 1/2" thick. 2 - 18' long lengths left. Let me know if you are interested. J.
