I never missed a game when I was a kid…
Reminiscing about: Dizzy Dean and Pee Wee Reese Falstaff Beer Game of the Week, from the 50s>
It was not a particularly exciting Game of the Week. The cameraman started panning the crowd. He came across a couple making out in the stands. As the game progressed, he would cut back to the kissing couple. Finally after the third or fourth time, Dizzy speaks: “Pee Wee, I finally figured it out.”
“Figured what out, Diz?”says Pee Wee.
Dizzy says, “He kisses her on the strikes…she kisses him on the balls …” They cut to commercial.
