disregard for those w/ lives

luvs

'lil yinzer~
i live above people that
-have no regard for the time of day regarding music/bass so intense that it makes the floor shudder & the plants dance
-i'll need to call them, or give a hefty few swift thumps to the floor between songs to get them to shush the noise. or yell 'adjust the (explicitive) volume! we snooze, have careers & (explicitive) jobs & school! be (explicitive) respectful! get a life! (explitive) losers!'

they used to call, see if it was too loud. hm. maybe i'll use the hippie music channel ripple effect next time. (i'll play it @ full volume.) the others that have a place here soon follow, tho louder. very effective.

tonite they took the hint. fast.

You live in a brownstone flat with neighbours above and below, right Aubs?
Don't know what I'd do if I had to live within the same building as others.
That said, I live close (sorta) to mine.. mobile homes, (singles and doubles)- sectionals and the like.

Glad I am on the street side of the estate that faces the blocks of homes in "on the fringe" suburbia here.
If I want to play my music loud, I do and don't really mind if others do the same.

However, it's the cars coming by that shake the windows-- like Johnny Cool slumped down in the seat of his '74 Ford pickup with one orange door, blasting out country music.
The things you see and hear when your gun's not loaded..:shifty::yum:

lollie, it's a tall, 3-tenant apt., very spacious & airy (so whyyyyy won't they take thier music to anther room:whistling:). 1 below, yep, & 1 above me.

thank goodness i'm used to the city. i luv urban.

the music affects too many, here. it's a respect thing as we're so close together & schedules vary so much. u hafta request the volume to be adjusted on the jukeboxes @ the bars, too.

'74 johnny cool! ha!:yum:

can't wait for my gun- tho it's only for when i'm in blatant danger, 'course.

... The things you see and hear when your gun's not loaded ...:shifty::yum:

ALWAYS keep your guns loaded! It's safer that way, as folks will always know "That's PG's gun - don't mess with it as
she always keeps it loaded!"

When was the last time you read a news article in which someone said, "Gee, I didn't know the gun wasn't loaded?"

Assholes that used to wake me up when I lived in the city got a rude awakening themselves. You screw a 2X6 to the ceiling and take the big Milwaukee hammer drill with the tamper end and let it rip beating on the board. After the second time never had a noise problem again. Guy on the third floor asked me what the hell I was working on but the jerks on the second floor never said a word.

well befor 911 i lived in a lower income aera and there was a party going on with what was referd to as jive music back then thi shit was up loud and i wanted to go to sleep. it was so loud a 6 pack of molsons couldn't help me sleep so i lit off 2 seal bombs and chucked them out the window in their general direction copps came and the party was ended. i tried to ask nicely once to turn it down the reply i got was get out of my face honky. i doubt i would do that now days may have tsa out there civing every one in the county a cavity search till they found explosives.
