Digital TV sucks!

Cowboy

Wait for it.
If things wern't bad enough with the goverment switching from analog to digital ao you cant get any kind of reception without cable. :hammer:

Now they have switched one of the few channels we could get which was my favorite "retro TV" where they had great quality old family type shows my wife and I enjoy very much and replaced it with "Bounce TV" . :hammer:

Its designed for the African American audience and has the quality you would expect if you happen to be a fan of Shaft movies and Soultrain reruns, I am not.

Thats fine I guess they deserve their own channel much like the other 3 friggen Mexican channels we now get while we cant even get regular stations like most folks .

But to top it off last night they had a movie called "Barack Obama: The Man And His Journey" that played over and over for some damn reason all night and it was the only channel we could get . I actually tried watching a little bit of it and I cant beleive someone actually made this kind of film with what he continues to do to Our country , but whats worse it compares him to the likes of Lincoln and many other great leaders of our country including MLK. The cast of coarse is made up of all of the phony ass people you would expect to see in a movie about our lier and chief, that being said I give it two thumbs down. :glare:

Here is a quick clip in case you want to run out and buy the DVD IF some of you dont allready have it. It might come in handy if you are ill and beats sticking your fingers down your throat. :whistling:

Well if you want, you can get a good movie and pop it in your DVD or Blu-Ray player. Its part 1 of a 3 part series and it goes on sale next week, but is available for Pre-Order from Amazon and other sources: ATLAS SHRUGGED Part 1. This is the story of how capitalism saves society from its liberal tendencies.

Part 2 is due to be released in August or September of 2012, just in time for the elections.

Thanks MD I may very well do that, I have heard a few of you mention this movie but never even knew what it was about. I'll look into it.

Very nice review Cowboy, you took it right up to the line of no return, gracefully tied one of the illegals in with the other, and did so without stepping over the line of political correctness. I’ll give you two thumbs up.

I clicked on the video but didn’t get past the first 5 seconds. I sorta expected to see a historical review of Obama in Kenya, only to find that the Prick was actually referring to My country as his... (Notice I showed proper respect and capitalized the P.)

Anyhow, I’ll slide on out to the kitchen and get a cup of coffee while I wait for Joe to come along and scold us both…

Cowboy my friend, if it makes you feel any better, the hit movie Barack Obama: The Man and His Journey was written and produced entirely with taxpayer dollars. Now everyone in America, not just the liberal elite, has a chance to see this wonderful work of theater for free on cable teevee.

Makes you feel really proud of America, don't it? Just like Michelle.

Get direct tv and watch whatever you want. Old shows on TVland and some of the other channels carry rifleman etc. We watch them as much as any of the current stuff. Don't watch much network except for Fox news and the weather channel.

Man do I agree with muleman on this, AMC runs the rifleman by the way. I've had DirecTV since they took it over from PrimeStar about 15 years ago. Their basic package is much better than the other one out there and when compared is actually cheaper too. I had cable before that and had it for short while in NC while at my son's house, the satellite is much more dependable as the cables have even more outages in my experience. I do have all the premium channels also as well as other extras but then I don't care about the cost for the most part as it is our only entertainment.

Reminds me when I asked a friend (VP at Time Warner) why he was a Democrat and he stated that he didn't mind paying higher taxes to give it to the lower income people because it enabled them to buy more of his products and for him to make even more money.

I recon I would just rather bitch about it, it would go against what I beleive in to have to pay for something now I have been getting for free my entire life. Its just one more reason for me to hate the friggen government, not that I needed another. :censored:
