Gone But Not Forgotten
This young mom with twins is here every day. We have another mom with twins who stays out front. The babies sure are getting fast, racing and chasing each other.

This young buck followed the Siamese cat all the way down from the salt lick and around the garden.

Was just watching 2 young bucks out front. They are all coming out since it cooled down a bit. Got 3 turkeys and 5 more deer out back. As for that jerky, I have not found any up here yet. Will have to call my buddy down by Rusty and see if he has any. I need to take him down some sharp cheese from up here one of these days.

The 14 acres I seeded in new pasture this year has been a magnet for the Deer and Elk .
On just about any evening I have about 10 -15 Deer and 40 - 100 Elk just enjoying the new grass . Last night we had 7 Bull Elk in the herd !!!

They sure do show up when it is fresh and tasty. I just hope we got enough rain last night to help jump start it growing again. The fawns are sure fun to watch.

I have 4 water holes dug for the wildlife and a big one in the pasture that one half of the barn roof runs in to. They get water down at one spring in the side of my woods hill as well.

cool, we get a few deer a year in our back yard but I have not seen any sign of them this year. Bet our creek is dry.

I know 2 of the holes still have water but the level is way down. See a lot of critters crossing roads to get down to the one big creek that still has water in it. My spring on the hill is probably dry and I know a few Amish that had dry springs as well.
