Decided I am going to host an exchange student and been looking into this for a few months now. I have a couple friends that have done this and talked to them about it. One has an exchange student from the UK and the other has one from Japan. Both are great kids with good families. They are helping me out and it was not hard to do. I do have to pass a background check which mine is clean. I will be in contact with someone this upcoming week on this. I signed up for it on Monday and got a call on Thursday. Mom and my brothers are supportive of me doing this

That's cool. Something my wife and I would be interested in.
We were foster parents for a few years until adopting a teenager. I had a friend back in grade 12 who was an exchange student from Argentina. We became quite good friends that year.
