Odd but worth pointing out.
The specs on the page say "New", but when I do a google search for the model number, then narrow google to "Shopping", it lists this tigerdirect as being refurbished.

Another drawback is the 60Hz refresh rate. It still looks like a good deal on a good tv, but watching sports might reveal the shortcomings on such a big screen.

It's last year's Sony mid-line Blu-ray player for $149.99 at Amazon. I just bought one, thinking the streaming internet video would be awesome (Amazon Prime members now get free unlimited movie streaming as part of the $80 annual fee). I was thinking about Netflix after dropping HBO, but no need with the Amazon deal (that's the hope, anyway).
