Daniel Penny Trial, Jury goes to Third Third Day!

FrancSevin

Proudly Deplorable
What the hell?
Three days to decide the obvious?

Every member of this jury like rides the Subway once in a while. A guilty verdict will tell every New Yorker, they are not safe to ride the trains. They should have decided within the first hour of the first day. IMHO This trial is political and shouldn't be happening at all.

I get that the lefty’s want to stop the good samaritans from helping their fellow man. After all a scared society is easy for them to control, I just hope they don’t get away with it.

The jury is looking at two charges here. Reckless Homicide or Negligent Homicide. Conviction of either is fatal to Daniel Penny's freedom. And any assumption of personal safety on the Subway, or any public transportation system, in NYC.

If Daniel is found guilty of anything, no one will be willing to stand their ground on the subway against evil. Not for themselves or fellow passengers. Self-preservation, and that of others, is a fundamental freedom of every American.

An excerpt from something Loboloco once posted;
If possible, back away from a fight. If cornered, or protecting others, then fight like you've never fought before.
The greatest deed a person can ever perform is to face death protecting the innocent or injured. To be willing to fight and die for those who cannot defend themselves.
"Greater love has no man, than to give his life for a friend."

Such wisdom certainly applies here. Civility demands it can be exercised in a free, self-governing, society.

Can’t believe it’s nothing but the jury enjoying the days off and jury free perks …… if this goes anywhere further than a hung jury in both charges, it will be jury neglect!

Jury just gonna make it a whole week off. Nobody want to go back for 1 Friday!

And now a civil lawsuit.

His parents are exhibiting everything wrong with the "victim" class in society today.

Looks like a hung jury.

So hard to believe that any number of scum bags would convict him.
WTF is wrong with this people?
In many other states he would have received the honors of a hero, key to the city, citizenship medal, etc.

But in NY, a city plagued by criminals, one good man stands up and is persecuted for protecting others.

Update!

The jury is hung on the manslaughter charge. And cannot come to a verdict on the lesser charge.
So,
Alan Bragg stepped in, spoke to the judge.
The judge dismissed the Manslaughter and told them to concentrate on a lessor charges.
Is this even legal?

These twelve citizens should tell AG Bragg and the PA to stuff it. But; They won't.

This trial should have been over with a not guilty verdict in five minutes. Not five days with a continuance.
I never want New Yorkers as my neighbors.
