Our snowmobile club president had just gotten back from a 14 hour run with the groomer. He went to fill up the fuel before parking it and was quite impressed that it only cost $30 to fill up after running for 14 hrs.
First I have to describe how the fuel tank is set up. The fuel tank is right behind the cab and right next to it is the HYDRAULIC tank.
Needless to say he mistakenly topped up the hydraullic tank with deisel. Thankfully, someone was there that knew abit about machinery and told him to shut it off right way. It didn't damage the pumps at all.
Here we are at midnight in -30c weather draining the whole hydraulic system at the gas station.
