Damn good fuel mileage on our groomer!

Our snowmobile club president had just gotten back from a 14 hour run with the groomer. He went to fill up the fuel before parking it and was quite impressed that it only cost $30 to fill up after running for 14 hrs.

First I have to describe how the fuel tank is set up. The fuel tank is right behind the cab and right next to it is the HYDRAULIC tank.:pat:

Needless to say he mistakenly topped up the hydraullic tank with deisel.:pat: :pat: Thankfully, someone was there that knew abit about machinery and told him to shut it off right way. It didn't damage the pumps at all.

Here we are at midnight in -30c weather draining the whole hydraulic system at the gas station.

There is a reason we have DIESEL FUEL decals stuck next to the filler tube on all our trucks :idea:
