Crossing into Canada

I am taking a Thiokol Imp from the lower 48 though Canada for a moose hunt in Alaska later this year. Do I need a title to be able to bring the Imp over the border?

don't know about new rules but used to be you had to have it with you when you left canada again

Just called both Canadian and US border security.
Canada doesn't care one bit. It is all considered "equipment" Snow machines, quads, or the trailers it's hauled on.

Us wants either title or a bill of sale.
