This turned up on CL Reno/ Tahoe. It seems like a decent price for a relatively modern diesel rig. It's not mine, so you'll need to contact the seller through the add, I just wanted to share in case someone's looking.
Snow Cat / Groomer - $15000 (Highway 108)
1988 Pisten Bully 240D narrowed to 12 feet, with box tiller and compactor bar included. Very strong running cat. Only mechanical issues are the tiller stinger self centering bleeds off, and the full width 12 way blade bleeds off. Cummins engine, pumps, and drive motors were gone through by Pisten Bully in early 2000, and has less then 500 hrs put on it since. Cosmetically it shows its age, with cracks in the fiberglass cab and the drivers door has some fiberglass separated from the door frame, but the entire cab is water tight. New radiator and both walker arms were replaced in December of 2010, and sprockets were rebuilt in 2008. Aluminum cleats are in good shape and I have extras. Track belt still have lots of life on them, and it will come with an $800 dollar updated belt hinge kit, plus other spare parts. The cat is located in central Sierra Nevada mountains.
