[FONT=&quot]"No, they went to town." [/FONT][FONT=&quot][/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]"How about your brother, Howard? Is he here?" [/FONT][FONT=&quot][/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]"No, he went with Mom and Dad." [/FONT][FONT=&quot][/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]The farmer stood there for a few minutes, shifting from one foot to the other, mumbling to himself. [/FONT][FONT=&quot][/FONT]
