Congress overrides Natural Gas Shutdown.

Doesn't this have to pass the Senate?
And then get signed by the President?
So other than send a signal that some in his party oppose him, does it actually accomplish anything real?

Good question.

I would think this puts members of the Senate in a box. A majority of Americans, voters, would want us to increase exports of any kind. And, to be supporting our European allies over Russia at the same time. I doubt they like having to depend on Putin for energy.

Its a lame duck will never pass the 2 other parts of gooberment

WASHINGTON, Feb 15 (Reuters) - A bill to strip the power of President Joe Biden's administration to freeze approvals of liquefied natural gas exports passed in the Republican-controlled U.S. House of Representatives on Thursday, but faces an uphill battle in the Senate.
The House approved the bill sponsored by Representative August Pfluger of gas-producing Texas 224-200 on a mostly party-line vote.
The legislation needs to be passed in the Democratic-controlled Senate and signed by Biden to become law, both of which are unlikely.

Make no mistake, this was all about punishing Texas. BRIBEr Biden could not find our so called NATO allies on a map. His puppet masters will do what they need to do to stay in power. Watch what happens this summer as the election gets closer.

It boils down to more than politics. At the end of the day, Texas and Oklahoma suffers, and so does our European allies.
Keep in mind, this removes from Europe, the freedom to choose an alternate and competitive source of supply.
It also wastes away the recent capital investments made to the ports that would load this commodity.

Brilliant move by the dumbocraps. Not!

on a side note NY wont let any gas lines transverse it to the upper new england states they actually ship it from Baltimore by boat to Boston we have the gas ni north central pa but our neighbors to the north are blocking it .
