Set up a conference call with about 12 peeps. All accept. The usual dingdong connects late, so the first 15 minutes have to be rehashed because Mr Late always is.

Blah!

I feel your pain WB. Wrecks my whole attitude for the rest of the demo. And he's generally the head guy which makes it even worse. And to top it all off, he'll show up on the phone but we'll all have to wait while he downloads goto and works through the issues of figuring out how to use it.

Since my employer started letting people work from home, we have had a lot of conference calls. It was common to hear a child crying in the background, or someone's door bell ring, or their microwave ding, but the funniest thing was hearing a toilet flush. The lady that flushed it had no idea her phone would pick up the sound as well as it did.

Needless to say we all learned not to flush until after the conference call.

LMAO!!! We were talking about that the other day at the office. We do allot of conference calls. Also teleconference calls. On occasion, someone will forget to hit the mute button. One time, my manager came in and was on a rampage because the other end wasn't organized and ready when we were. She didn't know the mute button was off and they could hear everything on the other end. Was funny to see the look on her face when the people on the other end responded back to her.

The funniest yet most ironic teleconference we had at the office was when they did an agency wide teleconference presentation on being organized. It was slated to start at 9:30am with 5 different sites all linked together. Well, we finally got started at 11am and the equipement still wasn't working properly.
