Condiments, No Galvi not Condoms > Condiments

thcri

Gone But Not Forgotten
Two restaurants in the last week that I have been at are now rationing their condiments. No longer is the Ketchup, Mustard, BBQ sauce or anything on the table. You have to ask and they bring it to you in a small little container and you have to continue to beg for more. I like ketchup with my fries dang it and I should not have to wait for it allowing my fries to go cold. :hammer::hammer::hammer:

Ask to speak to the manager, tell the manager that you will not eat there if that continues to be the policy. Tell him that you will let all your friends know not to eat there. Tell him that you have already posted about it on the internet and that many people agree with you that the condiments policy they have is bad.

Or go prancing in the next time with your own bottles of mustard, ketchup, bbq and steak sauces.
When the waitress seats you, plop them down on the table, and say you decided to BYOB's, as they are lacking in the condiment department as of late.

They would lose my business. That is ridiculous for a sit down place.
Bill - Murph was at Burger King and McDonald's. The "table" he's referring to is the center console in his work truck.

JK Murph. I'm with the others that say speak to mgmt. once. If they don't change it, don't visit the place. BTW, I too hate cold fries. I actually let my burger or whatever sit until the fries are nearly gone so they don't get cold.

Am I the only one that asks for vinegar for my fries?

I feel sorry for the restaurants and completely understand why they are doing this. I don't like it, but I get it.

We give away free coffee to people who use our cigar lounges. Occasionally someone will come in, get a cup of coffee, then pocket HANDFULLS of those little individual creamers, sugar packets, etc.

I can only imagine how much $$$ is taken from high volume restaurants in the form of lost condiments.

Too bad you don't have a Happy Daz around there Murph.
Listen to the last five words in ^^^their popular jingle..
:yum: "the ketchup's on the table"

(The owner) John's a cool guy.. and they use Red Gold ketchup, which have their plants right near in good old Indiana!

Ok, back on topic! lol

If the ketchup is in a bottle it would be harder to take. Or they could have one of those dispensers where you push down on a big button.

Has any one else noticed that customer service at some places has hit an all time low, seems some people are just not very happy, perhaps it's just what i see but I've encountered people that are just rude and act like it's some big imposition to wait on you or to get some extra napkins or a refill on a drink, and then give me crusty looks for not tipping them well.

That's all due to the times we're living in, and the generation of people that are working in restaurants now.
Hell, you don't even get that glass of water anymore when you sit down to dine before ordering a meal.
Why? because you have to BUY drinking water now!
blah!

Not any place that wants me to come back! Rude bitch at Applebees cost them my business forever in Horseheads. I have never gone back there and am right there all the time. I try to patronize local places for the most part and stay away from chains.

People don't complain enuff. Companies rely on their customers complacency. If you feel unable to confront a member of staff, or the manager, then fire off an email to the general manager of the company. Believe me this works wonders. I know, because I've done it several times over bad, indifferent, or downright insolent service.

Make sure that you supply the address of the offending establishment, and any other details that you might feel are relevant. Very often higher managment/head office have no idea what little Hitlers are employed by their underlings, and would not condone much of what goes on in their name. They don't want to lose money, or your custom, or stain their reputation for good business practice.

Murph...i always carry my own condoms just in case i feel like having a dunk....o whoop's just read the title again....dunking is dunking i guess:yum::yum::yum:

eh m8 why don't you just invest in one of these....

Nope not me , I haven't had one problem at any fast food or any other types of resturants for 9 years or so.

The two places I mention one is a National Chain. Large Steakhouse and the other is a well known local that just opened a new location. It was at the new location. The local one I doubt I will go back because of the service that came along with it. There is more to it than having good food.
