clacking noise from final drive

hello out there, i just picked up a 1979ish Bombi first one i have owned or driven went thru it from front to back refaced the clutch put in new steering bands, new front drive sprockets ,it seems to operate fine but i am not sure what are typical bombi sounds! when you apply pressure to turn there is a clacking sound and when you come to a stop it seems a bit rough,is this normal for a bomb or does it need bushings in the differential .This is my first time posting ,its awesome having this forum there not to many bombs in my neck of the woods
 
A friend of mine was getting a loud clacking noise when steering - even after he replaced the bands. He then had the "drums" resurfaced and it quieted down considerably.
