IS making my CPU spin it's wheels doin nothing. I think it is part of Norton, and I haven't updated or payed them a sub. for several years now. I keep my machine cleaned up and regularly deleted temp files. But I did how ever delete some thing called "idle time___" or something to that effect, as it was running the CPU dry at that time. The machine has worked fine since then, but now I am having this problem...

Thanks, Kirk

You need to get the Norton removal tool and run it several times usually to get it off your system. What is the owner of the process?

Well if you are owner you can safely shut it down. I just got out of the hot tub so give me a few minutes and I will see if I can link you the Norton tool.
