The older we get the more important it is to incorporate exercise into our
daily routine. This is necessary to maintain cardiovascular health and
maintain muscle mass.

If you're over 40 , you might want to take it easy at first, then do more
repetitions as you become more proficient and build stamina. Warning: It may
be too strenuous for some.

Always consult your doctor before starting any exercise program!

That wore me out! Seriously, I do the 14 steps to the hot tub in the basement as part of my exercise and plenty of trips to the barn and greenhouse as well as the boiler.
 
I even exercise at night, I get up often to pee. Sometimes I even have to high step over the dog in the bathroom, he likes the cool tile floor.
 
I actually do quite a bit of walking at work. Sure, I could be sitting for hours typing a report. But, quite often I'll be back and forth from my cubicle to the copier about 50ft away then up and down stairs going back and forth to the file room. Usually I'll be in the middle of typing a report and I'll get a call from a foster parent needing something so I'll have to drop what I'm doing and head out to the store then over to their place. I'm all over the place. Sometimes I don't see my desk in days. Other days I don't leave my desk.
 
I have been running almost a 5k every other day. My program only allows me to run 30 minutes and I am somewhat short of the 5k. As time goes I will get the 5k in the 30 minutes. To much walking in the program at this stage. In two weeks will do it and more.
