Gone But Not Forgotten
On the way back from Reno I stopped at the new Cabela's store . I remembered that the new "Meat grinder I had bought last year had stripped a plastic gear and I hoped to be able to get another one , I found the Meat grinder display but they did not have the piece I needed even though they carried the exact same unit brand new . I had order the replacement part from Cabelas last november but never recieved it . AS I walked around to another ailse I stepped on something??? . It was the plastic gear piece I needed ! I spent 5 minutes trying to find where it came from before finally getting a salemen and asking him where they kept these parts . I told him I wanted to buy 6 of those gears . He told me they did not carry them and it must have fell off the display model . We went over and both the displays had there's in place . He told me to go see Customer service . At coustomer service I explained the whole story again and they got the manager and I got to tell the story one more time . He said it must have fell off the display and I said No it did not because both units have those in place . He finally gave me the correct number to order 6 more of the gears and told me to keep the one I found !
