The Old Salt
Lynn D "Buck" Compton whose WW2 exploits were depicted in the TV series Band of Brothers has died at the age of 90. Rest in peace, old friend. A true American hero.

Well stated and sadly true.We are losing our heroes in record numbers and so many have no idea of their sacrifices for our freedoms. May his passage be a peaceful one.
