broken grousers

I picked up a snow trac lasts spring ST4 #185. I had several broken grousers on it . I found 5 so far. All my spares have been used and I am wanting to know how they break. Is it from rocks and uneven ground? From reading and talking to people it is hard to break the ones on this model. They are not rusted out or worn down lots .

i'm betting they were run accross large rocks like a river bed that terrain is the top of my list of things to stay away from

Does anyony know of any new grousers that are for sale? Been welding the better ones and used up all but one of my new ones.
Lyndon was over and told me of a guy but I couldn't contact him.

Thanks, don but I am going to wait on the grousers for now. I think I'll run it this season and see what happens.
I gave a shot at welding the thin aluminum panels .This is the fuel tank hole with a patch cut to fit in it. I seen one small pin hole but figured my paint would cover it.
