br 180 track breakage

another newbie/first thread [?] ever /we operate a 2005 br 180 using a 10' mogul master drag/mountonous & flat trails/ from about day one have been cracking & breaking cleats [Grousers] @ about mid point/ :sad: any suggestions ? thanks
 
What width of cleats do you guys have? I've heard of lots of clubs with the wider track setup on the BR's having problems like that.
 
brian/ thanks for the reply/ to order new cleats we specify 33" and 43"/we remove and weld when approiate/ two more cracked&or broke yesterday [fri.]
 
Hard hits will break them,( stumps and rocks ) BUT, are you using
Bombardier or aftermarket grousers?. Oem ones are more resistant.
They are tempered to a specific grade :brows:...
 
i believe most are by far still oem/ one that cracked fri. was the second time/cracked right thru a small [too light?] mending plate from previous repair/besides rocks etc ice conditions are severe this winter/we do have a theory but will wait for more unbiased comments/ thanks
