Hi everyone-I'm new here to FF, but I recognize many of you from Docs other forums. I was invited by pirate girl and am just now getting around to joining in the fun!

My name is Bob, and I am (for the time being) living in Elkhorn, (Omaha) Nebraska, with my wife, our 9 year old Grandson Sammy, two Jack Russell terriers and two cats. I've been a musician for the past 33+ years, and of course by choosing that particular craft (self-imposed poverty!:yum:) I've held a lot of different jobs to carry me through the lean times! For the past few years I've been able to dedicate all my time (with my wifes blessing) to building a very well equipped studio that allows me, and other friends and family members, to write, play and record at will. My main goal is to get some things recorded and polished as sort of a "legacy" to our kids and grandkids. Currently, we have 11 grandchildren, but I haven't checked with the kids for a couple of days so I may be off by one or two...........

At any rate, I'm looking forward to making new friends and getting together with the old ones!!:beer:

Howdy, SK. Hope you left your feelings over at NCT. This can be a rough crowd sometimes, especially when it comes to sensitive subjects. Some of these clowns actually try to piss people off on purpose. Can you believe that? You'll be fine here, just don't take no crap from anybody, especially some of the pushy mods trying to enforce something called rules. They have that Napoleon complex thingy.

Have a cinnamon roll while you're hanging out....

You know JEV if you would send some of them Cinnamon rolls over to the mods maybe we would give you some slack once in a while. :poke:
 
Thanks one and all-any forum that has a forum entitled "get a room" sounds like one I want to be a part of (however that does fly in the face of my longstanding credo that "I would never join a club that would have me as a member".....) Oh well, gotta break the rules once in awhile!!

And as an aside, Big Dog, your avatar is the best I've ever seen-I'd like an 8x10 and half a dozen wallets please......:w00t2:
