Bombi Wheels

Hey Guys,

I'm looking for some heavy duty 12 inch wheels. I have a Sno-Plane groomer which uses trailer wheels and hubs. Generally speaking, the rims of the wheels peel off before the tire fails. It's been and ongoing problem since the machine was new.

I was at the groomer show at St Germain Wisconsin and saw a new Husky there with pneumatic tires. Those wheels look heavier that the ones I'm currently using. I'm looking to beef up the axles and bearings also, so I don't care if they don't bolt up to my current hubs.

Anyone know where I can pic up at least a dozen of these (or other) heavy duty 12 inch wheels?

Try www.mn-outdoors.com
we have bought some there that where for our BR180 with a bonded solid tire polyurethaned onto a wheel with .375 solid AR plate center before we switced we where constantly have problems with air tires on the Back of our BR180 due to weight and turning. they were able to engineer a solution to our problem and we have not had a issue since.

Me again,

I just want to clarify that I'm looking for pneumatic wheels. My machine has ZERO suspension, so the only give at all is in those tires. I tried solid core wheels. They about rattled my teeth out of my head.

Thanks for any suggestions!

I just got off of the phone with Brad, the owner of Minnesota Outdoors. They can fabricate everything I need. He's talking about building wheels for around $100 each versus Bombi's $500 each. He also had a number of solutions for a bunch of other issues I'm dealing with as far as beefing up the axles, bearings, and hubs. I'm going to wait until the end of the season, but I just wanted to say THANK YOU for the resource.

Sometimes things aren't as complicated as they seem!

Thanks again!
