Bombi Driver cog Torque

Brokenbones

New member
Would any one know how to calculate the output torque of the Driver cogs with no slippage with engine and trans in stock form?

My rig is a 1975 with the 1.6 ford

Thanks in advance Jake

Jake, lots of variables but roughly take the Torque developed by the engine, then subtract the torque loss used/wasted by the transmission, then subtract the torque used/wasted by a differential.

The other problem to consider is that engines lose hp/compression as they age, so original hp/torque would no longer be valid, it would have declined.

what would typical losses be though the transmission and diff?

What i am trying to do is size up hydraulic drive motors.
