The one TV show I like to watch is THE FIVE......mainly I like to see Bob Beckel raked over the coals by one of the Gals........its fun to see him go off on conservitives and then one of the ladys put him down roaly...and watch him just clam up and burn!!!!!:w00t2:......


But yesterday and today Mr Beckel came out in a VERRY strong statement in defence of Nam vets.....today he was real vocal in demanding that CBS retract the action they took and to make amends....even stated that he would not let it go untill they did......For that I must say Thanks much MR. Beckel...and thanks to Fox for giving him the perch from whitch to speak......
I have already sent an e-mail to Bob via the Five thanking him.......

From a man who was held at attention while being Spit on......Thank you Bob........

I respect a man like him who will stand on principle even when it goes against his party's thinking. He's a big man but stands taller now IMO.

I saw it live both days and even his co hosts were surprised by his rant. Good for him to take a stand and call them out on it. The fact that they shrug it off at CBS speaks volumes about their disdain for the American serviceman.

Beckel only underscores the Progressive's success in rewriting history in our schools and universities. There are very few young people that have ever heard of Viet Nam, let alone its true history beyond that portrayed by Jane Fonda and her commie friends.

Speaks sadly of the system of education in America. Fuckin' Progressives. Now they want to alter the core curricula in our grade schools.

I dont know what his reasons were for doing it other than what he said they were and I thank him for doing it....I could yell for a solid year and not have the efect he did in just a few minets...Mr beckel and I probably could not have more different political views[strongly held] But I see him to be a man who is honest in his views.....that I can deal with...and still respect him. Again...Thank you to Mr beckel...

I agree with you. I believe Beckel has true moral outrage here. I hope some of his fans get with it and join him. He is certainly on the right side of the issue this time.
 
This reminds me of the old adage it's going to have to get worse before it's going to get any better. These events, though hard to watch, are going to produce the kind of backlash we need. This country could use a little more outrage and a lot less tolerance.
We have some deep sleepers to wake up.

Well....well...well.....looke...there CBS has decided to say they are SORRY!!!!!!!
It took them a week to admit they had insulted thousands of us old vets...and Im betting a lot of young ones also....but they finely got around to it.........


THANK you Mr Beckel and all the others who helped bring this about.....

I think CBS just wanted to weather the storm, but discovered it was growing from a thunderstorm to a tornado heading directly for them. Or maybe they could see it turning into a major sh!t storm.

What surprises me is that CBS, NBC, ABC and CNN don't hire a few prominent conservative thinkers and have them featured on some of their opinion shows in the same way that FOX features so many liberal thinkers. I honestly believe that the liberal thinkers provide some balance, and some intellectual honesty, to the FOX broadcasts. Having some liberals around prevents some of the conservatives from going off into the AlexJones.com/Infowars weeds. But there is none of that balance on CNN or the 3 major networks.

Sure the networks will have conservative guests on, just to beat them up, but they don't have prominent conservative voices on staff in regular slots. I think that is why all of them suffer in the ratings and pale in comparison to FOX's viewers.

Agreed. I see that MSNBC has replaced that commie Ed Shultz in the 8PM prime-time slot with the other little commie, Chris Hayes. Funny as hell.

Does anyone know where Ed Shultz will go? Into oblivion, I hope. That Hussein-lovin' man is dangerous.
 
Their cowards is why. I honestly think their like the kid in school who thinks as long as he doesn't fight back the bully won't hurt him as bad.
