Proudly Deplorable
Today my wife received a most amazing surprise from her Mom and her Dad.
We were cleaning out her parents home, digging in the basement thru wet piles of books, boxes, and old stuff people keep for no reason. It has been a nightmare mess, The dumpster is about half full and it is all stuff ruined by age, water, neglect and just plain wore out. That's when she found bright yellow envelope, un opened but containing a beautiful birthday card to her from Mom and Dad for her birthday.
Her father passed away two months ago.
Her mom passed away over 29 years ago.
Despite being within all the wet and moldy trash, the card is in perfect condition.
The first miracle is that we even found it in all the trash.
The second is that her birthday is this Sunday.
