I'm getting a bit absent minded.
I left the door to the 4Runner open after getting out last night.
Get up this morning and wife found the door open. It rained and the floor mats and seat are wet. So I know the window controls in the door got wet and the power seat controls got wet.
Looking for suggestions as to what would be best to spray these with to prevent issues later.

WD 40

For wet electricals it is the nuts.
Used to carry it in one of the farm trucks that did not like deep snow. When troubles hit, hosed it down the distributor with WD 40 and away it would go.

Back in the day, if a customer came in with a wet distributor, running rough, and had to be in the move, I'd spray it with hair spray and they'd be on their way
