Saturday Night Live on May 19th was special. Mick Jagger hosted and performed two songs with Foo Fighters backing him up. They did old stones tunes. Then Jeff Beck was on to play lead to a blues song that Jagger recently wrote. Then in a goodbye to one of the girls on the show the whole gang burst into Ruby Tuesday. Very moving. Plus they had a few skits that were funny ....and they had the dogs also.
I record it so it is easy to get past the BS (ie: stuff I don't care for). Justin Timberlake was one of the better SNL's of this past year but, for me, Jagger surpassed that performance. The music helped a lot for sure.
