Wife of prosperity gospel televangelist Benny Hinn files for divorce in California.

Suzanne Hinn filed the papers in Orange County Superior Court on Feb. 1, citing irreconcilable differences, after more than 30 years of marriage. The papers note the two separated on Jan. 26 and that Hinn has been living in Dana Point, a wealthy coastal community in southern Orange County.

"Pastor Benny Hinn and his immediate family were shocked and saddened to learn of this news without any previous notice," Benny Hinn Ministries said Thursday in a statement.
"Although Pastor Hinn has faithfully endeavored to bring healing to their relationship, those efforts failed and were met with the petition for divorce that was filed without notice."
Shocked and Saddened = Trying to figure out how much seed money this is going to cost.
Suzanne Hinn is an amazing Christian, extraordinary preacher, and is best known for her preaching on the Holy Ghost Enema.
:yum:

Clearly she is as freaking whacko as he is.

Those people are nuts.

The whole Wealth Gospel bunch is nuts.

I know a family who are full of Hinn's variety of Better Than Thou Christianity. They know they are Saved(tm) and that leaves them free to pull off the most selfish stuff you can imagine. They have gotten way over their heads buying too much nice stuff on a moderate income then declared bankrupcy and never paid for it. - Twice!

All the while lecturing us endlessly about their religious superiority, how if we joined their church, we too would never have to care again about worldly responsibility to pay for what we buy, Jesus has it all taken care of.

Simultaneous with telling us that we must split the cost of bring their kids along to the restaurant (an expensive one they chose) because they are a little short this week. Apparently Jesus hasn't come through just yet as they had counted on.

That crowd of ignoramuses ... well I ran out of words.

I am sad that you did!:yum:
I agree Chris.
Right before my Mother passed away, she more or less left the Catholic church in favour of one that asked for money, money, money and salvation, altar visits.. some of the oddest shit I have ever heard of in my life.
I am not knocking full gospel churches who want to gather the flock around them in an honest way.
It really chaps my ass to see televangelists and their ilk preying on those who have lost their way enough to think they have any hope of happiness, or a larger bank account .. if they only turn themselves (and their checking accounts) over to "them".
Jesus doesn't want your money, he wants your heart.
Amen.

When Jesus has your He will have your money. I know of the churches
of which you speak and I attended churchs which with the money that was collected helped those in the congreation with baggs of food thur
the year, had clothes closets that supplied needed clothing to those
that were in need, would put money in car seats when no one was looking. Visited nurseing homes, and retirement homes on Sundays.
To those gripping when was the last time YOU did any of this. :whistling: :whistling:

HE will have a small portion of your money.
HE won't look to clear out your bank account and make sure you continue to do that on a regular basis in HIS name.

Sounds like you found an ok church.

The folks I was talking about, and their church, never gave anything back.
