That horse has been screwed with too much. Healthy strong animals don't break limbs "stepping wrong". I'd like to know what designer crank they've been stuffing into that beast.
 
The latest report said that he injured it when he jumped the gate the first time and hit it. Horses, like humans can break bones if they are stressed in a direction that they are not intended to move. I know because I broke an ankle jumping over a 12" flower garden fence, when my foot landed in soft dirt and twisted. I know that it was not the jump, but the landing that caused it.. :whistle:

Hmmm . . . Sorry if this offends you Junk, but I doubt you are in top physical condition. One of the benefits of exercise is that it also strengthens your bones.

I can see that if he jumped a gate that perhaps that caused the problem but the original reports were that it just spontaneously fractured itself.

Horse racing is the original testing ground for performance enhancing drugs. These guys use all the latest stuff and are typically way ahead of the Olympians.
