Beavers are back.

This time they moved across the road and dammed up the culvert under the road. Town guys have dug it out with backhoe twice in the past 2 weeks. They cut down 2 of the trees they had started working on by the new power lines. The funny part is they relocated those lines last fall after they knocked them down with trees for their old dam that had been torn out.

Looks like what's going on along Jennings creek around here, just northeast of me.
Driving out that way toward Ft.Jennings, you can see where the beavers have built dams.
Same thing going on along the Little Auglaize river, Dog Creek and Prairie Creek as well.

beavers are great as long as they are someone Else's problem.cute,fun to watch but when the water starts to rise or the dam blows out things get ugly.

the trick to getting rid of beavers is to puch a hole in the lodge and pour in som muriatic acid wont nothing live there for atleaste 3 years

I sure am glad I came back and read this post. I just saw the title "Beavers are back" and thought it pertained to a ladies grooming trend which I fully suppoert. Then I saw PG was up in the middle of the night bathing to eliminate fleas. I was shocked I tell ya shocked! Now, having read both posts, I know I owe PG an apology.
