Mr. Smith went to his doctor for a checkup and afterwards the doctor came in with a serious look. "Well, Mr. Smith, I'm afraid I have bad news and really bad news." Mr. Smith replied, "Give me the really bad news first." The doctor said, "You have cancer and have but six months to live." Smith grimaced, thought for a bit, then said "And what's the really bad news?" "You have Alzheimer's, too," said the doctor. Mr. Smith smiled. "Thank God, Doc. I was afraid I had cancer!"
