What a great post!
My dad was a radar operator in a B-24 "mickey ship." He got shot down in 1945, and his favorite joke long afterward was to tell people he got shot down and killed -- he'd then introduce his five baby boomer children (we all groaned at this point of course).

I got 7 out of 8. I didn't know the pilot question and guessed wrong. The Military Channel has a lot to answer for.

In the first few seconds you hear the P-38 purr, then the F-86 whines in, and finally the F-22 roars. Toward the end, you hear each mix and separate. Kinda cool.
