Assault on the first amendment

This is the second article that I have seen recently, a guy in AZ commented online about a story that involved a separatist group killing some law enforcement in Australia, with comments like good for them and I wish I could have helped etc. Now he is charged looking at jail time. First they came after the second amendment, one of the amendments that could not be infringed on, now that they have completely assaulted the second amendment, you're free speech is next.
