Anyone here into video games? I play mostly Doom, Halo, Red Dead Redemption and Mortal Kombat.
Oh. I didn’t notice that. I’m in my early 30s. I did see a post from a member that was 24.Well, it's been the better part of a day with no replies so not many gamers here. Doesn't surprise me as our membership is generally people that are a bit older than you. (I'd guess the average age of our members is somewhere in the 50's).
Only (online?) game I play is Risk but I only play solo. I play Freecell on my older computers. It doesn't come with the newer Windows.
Yep Pong and Space Invaders were popular in the 1980s. Doom was popular in the 90s.Many years ago when my kid was a teen, we'd play Doom.
But before that, Pong and Space Invaders.
I'm 43 and do from time to time, but I no longer invest in them as I used to. As a youth, I'd play almost all day on the weekends.Anyone here into video games? I play mostly Doom, Halo, Red Dead Redemption and Mortal Kombat.
True. I’m assuming your born in 1981? The 80s, 90s and 2000s were the best time for video games before they did the dlc crap in 2010s and 2020s.I'm 43 and do from time to time, but I no longer invest in them as I used to. As a youth, I'd play almost all day on the weekends.
'81. Those were the most memorable age for me. I've enjoyed most of the DCLs I've played.True. I’m assuming your born in 1981? The 80s, 90s and 2000s were the best time for video games before they did the dlc crap in 2010s and 2020s.
Yep DLCs were good in the 2010s and some in 2020s.'81. Those were the most memorable age for me. I've enjoyed most of the DCLs I've played.
Oh, yeah. Definitely.Yep DLCs were good in the 2010s and some in 2020s.
I am not into them so much but I love computer games.Anyone here into video games? I play mostly Doom, Halo, Red Dead Redemption and Mortal Kombat.
My brother and dad were obsessed with road rash. When my sons were young, they had the Sega Genesis system.
I used to enjoy playing Road Rash.
There was something quite satisfying about doing the side kick to knock the other guys off the road
The only game I do is on my phone, Mahjong.
That said I delete the app when I get tired of it, then add it back when the mood hits.
You go boy!Nope I surf porn hub![]()
yeah, but that only takes me about 45 seconds, and *then* i have time to play video games.Nope I surf porn hub![]()
GoodI am 76 years old. Earlier this year I built my PC. Windows 11 Home, MSI mobo with a 650 AMD chipset, AMD Ryzen 7 8700G CPU with 32 GB of RAM overclocked to 6000 mt/s with AMD Expo in Bios and two 1TB Samsung SSD's. 750 watt PSU. Get what I am doing here? With Windows I tailor a PC to my exact needs, build it and then be able to service it or upgrade it as the need arrives. Don't even think you can come close to this level of customization with a imac. What you see is what you get. They even did away with the access door to add more RAM.
I am not a serious gamer at all so hence a CPU with built in Radeon 780M graphics as opposed to a stand alone GPU.
I built this PC because after 2 consecutive lousy running slow as shit iMacs I threw in the towel with Apple's desktops. I am not going to say they are all shit, just the two I owned were shit. I learned computers 30 years ago on windows starting with 3.1.1. Windows 11 is incredible and my new build is fast as all hell and quite a change from that fucking rainbow wheel of death.
I am currently playing a game called No Man's Sky, a sci fi open world game and not a shooter. I play it because it is a thinking persons game which I am not but it does exercise my brain cells, what few I have left. RTS games are fun too like the Civilization games.
