I hope the case of beer is for you 'coz after you finish with the dog, you'll deserve it. :yum::yum::yum:

an old coon hunter told me this........

make a fire, an then throw a bunch of wet leaves on it to make tons of smoke..
get the dog in the smoke............

somehow I guess the smoke bonds with a molecule in the stink and neutralizes the odor

Thankfully we don't have skunks here, but fox and badger poo is a very attractive perfume for dogs and is probably equally disgusting to humans. Dogs particularly seem attracted to this perfume before going out in vehicles with their owners!!

Another favorite they love to roll in is any dead animal. Come back all stinky and makes you want to gag while washing them.:hammer:

Yep, my labs used to manage to find a dead critter to roll in whenever we were river fishing. Then she would eat fresh horse manure to sweeten her breath. Ahhhh, the life of a dog. Oh, and both of my labs were dumb enough to get skunked.Did the tomato juice thing and would not let them in the house for a few weeks.

my big dog macaurther rolled in fish once as a puppy never did it again the little on still hasn't learned as for skunks none here but porcupines can be bad news when the family pet wants to take a bite out of crime

1987 Our old pit bull killed a skunk and carried it around to every bed in the house. He came in through the pet door with it and ran around looking for someone to show his kill to. Had to wash all the bedding and clean carpets etc. when we got home. He also brought the wife a live possum to the bedroom one morning when I was at work.:hammer:

Buddy has been nailed 3 times. We used an oatmeal shampoo all 3 times. Repeated lathering each time. Worked here. No smell when we got done.
