Ok so most of our tower sites have gated access, well this one site we keep having issues with dirt bag people billing the locks with stuff like silicone (wasnt too bad) but this last time we get there and all of the locks were filled with something like JB weld :( man I dislike people.......

does any one else have issues like this???? what do you do to stop it?
I was thinking of putting silicone in the lock so it looks like it was done but we could still pull it out... I wonder if any kind of grease or something would help keep it from sticking to the metal?

for now I guess we will just keep cutting the chain :(

yeah I just caught my spelling issue, with access. LOL :(

I used to be in that business. Not just the locks vandalized, sometimes the entire site.

There's not a perfect solution.

You can try spraying with WD40, most things won't stick very well. Clear Silicon grease will work too, looks like someone has already done it but the grease washes out easily. We added cameras to the building pointing at the gate, and in a few cases a hidden game camera somewhere down the road to the site to get their license plate.

yeah the game camera is a good idea...
we do have cameras at the buildings, but we haven't been able to do anything with the gates that are sometimes 12 miles down the road. :(
Man I would like to catch people who do that crap.

Stuff the key slot with anti-seeze. Nothing will stick to that stuff and it looks almost like jbweld. Napa handles it.
