This is another new design for Wildland Firefighting We were asked to come up with to replace the Bombardier J5 powered by 130hp Diesel and hydrostatics electronic joystick with safety if you lift your foot off the footswitch the machine will stop which does two things if you bounced out or got pulled from your seat the machine would stop but how it gets used most is you spray the fire line and have to stop you just lift your foot and to resume put your foot down again the electric controls have friction and stay where you have them set. 110 gallons water. hydraulic driven fire pump can draft from water source. 18" wide D dent grousers.

A pretty fancy little unit !!

Even seats 2

How wide is it ?

I like the bee :D

It is 64.5" The same width as a standard J5 but the tracks are 18" not the 16.5" like the J5 it is also heavier than the standard J5 at 6800 pounds with Liquids 110 gallons water and 40 gallons Hydraulic fluid 25 gallons Diesel.

Find any tracks yet? or are you still practicing your French ?

We have nic named it the Hornet (That is why it has a Bee )

Best Regards

Does it have the same suspension as a J5 ?

I'm still working up my courage to make a fool of myself in a foriegn language . Tomorrow's the day ;)

Front wheel is rubber torsion and the back is Walking beam but heavier than the J5 was with removable axles.

Have you talked with Bruce at Inland Track I know he would have a used track. last count I think he had 50-60 SW's
