I found out last week a dear friend/former business partner/brother in heart had died. Wayne was all of the above and really a great guy. I had run across a pic of him about 6 months ago and thought I should call, see how life had been for him and his bride. Well I did call, last week, got his widow now. turns out he was killed in an accident at the house he and she were building, by hand, just them, one board at a time. he fell off a landing and never regained conscienceness. died a week later. I had no idea, he was very well thought of and very important in his work, many of the bank integrations we know of, he helped lead the computer part of things. he was quite the photog also, and now I know quite a good craftsman.

I spent Sunday with his widow, first for lunch, then to the new house, then his plot then to the house they shared, they bought his parents house, and I now have a new best friend. Funny with seeing pics of him with his kids it gave me a sense of missing a great part of my bro's life. he was a great dad, husband, friend, and I miss him.

His widow and I were friends about the same time he came around, so we had a lot to remember with time and after 21 years no way to fit it all in one day. We will share again soon I hope.
