Thought I better go ahead and post this now.... Tuesday, Princess and I will have been married 8 years. She is my best friend and the love of my life. It sux, but I will be sitting in Oregon while she is here in Kansas. She may or may not see this, but I still want YOU guys to know how great she is.:wub::wub:

It is said that modern women have a new/different set of values but I've yet to meet any woman who didn't appreciate flowers on a special occasion.

On one of our anniversaries my wife had to be in Jakarta, Indonesia and I still was able to have yellow roses flown in from Singapore and delivered to her room just to let her know how much I loved and missed her. It wasn't easy but there is always a way ... and you have no idea how many brownie points you can build up. :brows::brows::brows:

That's funny! She HATES flowers. I did send them once for our anniversary, but that was the one she forgot about.... THAT was funny. She used to work in a flower shop and does not care for roses.... just back rubs and massages...:thumb:

After meeting rback & Princess today, I can see why she is the love of his life. What she sees in him though....... :confused2: :poke:

I thought my wife was the only one who hates flowers!!! She actually doesn't hate them, but would rather have the money to shop than on flowers that will die.

I have noticed that the younger girls today don't think the same way on a lot of things like their Momma did. A lot of the younger girls HATE pink. :doh:
I can't get over that one:blink: I think flowers are too expensive also, but it's the romance that goes with them. Flowers always said ,"you were doing something right if a guy sends you flowers"....And you get them in public so everyone knew it :yum:
The last flowers I got from Redneck was right after we got married. He sent them to my job anonymous :doh: I gave them away and didn't mention them. He took it personal I didn't mention them:yum: If I came home and told my new husband someone sent me flowers anonymous
he would hit the ceiling. :huh:
