HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - At least three people were shot to death Friday in a building at the University of Alabama-Huntsville, and two people were in custody, according to police and media reports.

The shooting happened inside the Shelby Center at the university campus.

The Huntsville Times reported three people were dead and at least one person was injured.

University spokesman Ray Garner said he didn't have any immediate details about the victims.

A man and a woman were in custody, Huntsville police Sgt. Jack Pugh said.

Erin Johnson, a sophomore and a student aide, told the Huntsville Times there was a biology faculty meeting under way when she heard screams coming from the room.

Another update. Apparently all the dead and injured are FACULTY and STAFF members, none are students. It is not clear who the shooter is.

He says the three people killed were faculty members and the wounded were two faculty members and a staff member. No students were involved.

Garner said three people were dead and a fourth injured. Trent Willis, chief of staff for Huntsville Mayor Tommy Battle, said several other people had been shot, but he did not have an exact number or their conditions.

Huntsville Hospital spokesman Burr Ingram said the hospital was treating three victims. Two were in critical condition and one was in stable condition. It was not clear if those three included the one injured person Garner mentioned.​

No clue if the woman shooter was a STUDENT, someone on the STAFF/FACULTY or someone from outside of the campus community.

That's 2 school shootings in 1 week. One a 14 year old shoots another 14 year old student. Now a Harvard educated professor shoots other teachers/peers.

So what does that have to do with anything she did? Perhaps you think that is Obama's fault also, he wished her to go nuts. Now you guys talk about the other side bringing up Bush but at least Bush was responsible for the problems we now have.
