Aktiv Trac

Hi Folks,

I'm brand new to this forum,and hope someone can help.

I was recently given an Aktiv Trac machine,and while i'm generally hands on,i can find nothing about this machine i.e engine type,history etc.

The engine does not run,and since i've found the free manual download,i still cannot make head nor tail of it because it is all in Swedish.The machine is not the typical VW type sno-trac like the one used in the "shining",but more resembles an argo cat with tracks?!.It is yellow in colour,and there is a couple of clips on you tube,but again these provide little information on the model.

I would be very grateful for any help.

Now if i'm correct this pic is linked to some fella Rolle in Sweden,whom i've been in touch with,but unfortunately does speak very little English.

I stay in the Scottish Highlands,and although we all speak the English tongue,the manual he emailed me,was the same i found on the free download site,and as i previously said is all printed in Swedish.

I could take the long route,and have the manual translated,but on finding this forum iam hoping someone can help me out with identifying the machine a little easier?!.

Rolle is the only person I have found that has listed new parts............. Try warren@snow-trac.com and see what he knows about Rolle
